The Pikes Peak Chapter of Future Secre- taries' Association, of which Harrison is a member, met at Colorado College. Other schools included in the Chapter are Air Academy, Widetield, and Manitou. Harrison students Nancy Rivera and Ka- thy Vargo received the top honors, first and second place in the Miss F.S.A. contest, sponsored by the Regional chapter. Lettermen Build School Morale Harrison athletes worked together to perfect and main- tain the high standards of good sportsmanship through the Letterman's Club. Faculty advisors, Mr. Pete Rodriguez, Mr. Gene Moses, and Mr. Norman Sullivan worked with officers Mike Childers, President, Kerry Larson, Vice-president, Clark Sheldon, Secretary, and Darrell Murphy, treasurer: to organize the athletes in order to help raise school spirit. During wres- tling matches and basketball games, they added origina cheers to the traditional ones used by the cheerleaders. Afte school and during athletic events the lettermen sold conces- sions. Student enthusiasm for the Bowling Club played a big part in making the season a success. There were six teams with three people on a team. Throughout the year these teams worked hard for first place because the teams were so evenly matched. Spirit also ran high in the High School Match Team. This Team consisted of six members. The one who had low series one week would sit out the next week. The other schools participating were Wasson, Billy Mitchell, Palmer, and Wide- field.
