Student Council Sponsors Spirit Drive LEFT. This beautiful trophy was awarded to the class that displayed the most school spirit. It stands three feet tall and was bought by the Student Council. BELOW. Student body president Lee Cerioni looks over the minutes from the last Student Council meeting while waiting for all the repre- sentatives to gather. The goal of the council is to create better un- derstanding among the students and to promote activities within the school. They also strive to make improvements in student life wherever possible. Working under a new constitution, the Student Council fulfilled its goal in many ways. Represent- atives attended the State Student Council Conven- tion held in Fort Collins. The standards ofthe international club are to strive for useful citizenship, to develop initiative and leadership, and to serve the school. Service projects included cleaning the Child Day Care Center, collecting for the Heart Fund and organizing the high school parking lot. The Key Club co-sponsored the Sweetheart Dance and held the After-Prom. President Lee Cerioni, vice-president Kerry Larson, secretary Kevin Hy- man, treasurer Gary Casner and sergeant-at-arms Ron Thomas were directed by advisor lVlr. Con Gerdes. 59
