Swimmers Compete In First Season veggie ABOVE. Coach Milward discusses Rod Hare's timing during the first meet. LEFT. Whit Anderson held the first place in the team scoring. Without the advantage of a pool, Harrison s inexperienced swimming team had a disap- pointing season. A total of 12 boys lettered, three of them being seniors, Whit Anderson, Richard Knox and George Lamb. Anderson held the team records for having the most firsts during the season, and the most accumulated points. Mr. Richard Milward was the organizer and coach of the first Panther swimming team.

National Honor So Thirty Five Members RIGHT The oath of the National Honor Society was administered by Mr Kelly Askew to the incoming members. Officers for 1967-68 were Debbie Wenge, Treasurer: Darrell Murphy, President: and Jayne Veteto Secretary. New members of the Gorman Chapter of the National Honor Society were initiated into the soci- ety during a special assembly. Speakers included Mr Wayne Bricker, Mr. Kelly Askew, and various student pa rticipa nts.
