MATHEMATICS in general provides understanding of everyday problems while to the more advanced student it is a tantalizing and sometimes maddening chase, Algebra, Physics and Geometry are offered here. MR. WILLIAMS has been teaching the advanced courses in mathematics manyyears. He received his B.S. E. from Arkansas State College and his M.A. from Peabody College. MISS LANEILLE does a fine job teaching the fundamentals to seventh and eighth graders, She has her B.S.E. from Ark. State College. MRS. CARNEY has some general math classes and study hall. AGRICULTURE is a subject that interests of our boys since Harrisburg is still primarily a farming community They learn skills and methods that will keep Poin sett County of the leading agriculture areas in the state. MR. WAY attended Ark. State, has a B degree from University of Arkansas and his M degree from Oklahoma A. 8: M. College. MR DARRELL WAY HOMEMAKING is taken by most all of our girls at sometime in high school, MISS MOORE is a native of this community, having a B.S.E. degree from Ark- ansas State Teachers and has almost completed work on her Master's from University of Arkansas.
