MATHEMATICS in general provides understanding of everyday problems while to the more advanced student it is a tantalizing and sometimes maddening chase, Algebra, Physics and Geometry are offered here. MR. WILLIAMS has been teaching the advanced courses in mathematics manyyears. He received his B.S. E. from Arkansas State College and his M.A. from Peabody College. MISS LANEILLE does a fine job teaching the fundamentals to seventh and eighth graders, She has her B.S.E. from Ark. State College. MRS. CARNEY has some general math classes and study hall. ALAN ROTTON SCIENCE Great emphasis has been placed in recent years. A lot of new science equipment was added this year andwe're sure we'll see more improve- ments in the future. MR. ROTTEN is one of our very capable new teachers in this field. He spon- sors the Senior Science Club and is assistantfoot- ball coach. He has his B.S. degree from Ark. State Teachers College. MR. SMITH did some very fine pinch hitting for us with some afternoon classes. He is a graduate of Henderson State Teachers College andour local postmaster. MR.
