I ARTICLE V To Harris-Elmore school, since we have no money, we hereby leave best wishes from the class of l960. Signed, sealed, and delivered this 25th day of May, l960 Signed, Robert Webert, President Claaa Pnophecq lt is the year i980 and as we swoop into town on our glademobiles, we see that the little town has changed into a bustling thriving city As we go down main street, we see that most of the building fronts are those of famous people The first office is that of Clarence Avers, scientist extraordinary Clarence has become famous because of his new invention, explosronless dynamite We haven t heard much from him lately though Seems there was an explosion In the lab in which he was perfecting his in vention Next we come to the office of Mary Ann Barnes, a famous author She became famous for her book, Why I m Famous and You re Not She has as her assistants, two struggling young writers in their own right They are Beverly Barshel and Ray Baumer I call them struggling because Mary Ann got Iealous of their writing and tied them up and-threw them In the cellar and now they are struggling to get free The next office is a but unusual in its design It is made up of old broken bass drum beaters and belongs to Judy Bruntz It seems that whenever she got a beater in her hand she had to pound on something with It until it was broken Karen Buck owns the next office She made her money with the invention she turned out It rs a self playing clarinet She got the idea while playing Marriage of Figaro lf you want one, they are twenty feet square, weighing three tons, and cost S20 000 All you do is p ug It in and let 'er p A dazzling light catches our eye now It is coming from the old Portage Inn, now under the management of Lola Damschroder A sign in the window says We dare you to try our dynamite special It consists of one stuck of dynamite, lighted followed by a sasparrlla chaser One fellow that tried it hasn t been able to pull himself together yet Tom Dneterle is the owner of the next office He is owner, and head pilot of GLYNI Air lines The initials stand for Good Luck You II Need lt It was called that because Tom has yet to be sober when he steps into the cockpit We see the smiling face of Bill Draeger standing in front of his office We ask hum how business is and he says it s really rolling Bill is the president of The Draeger Ball Bearing Company Next we come to the Guesler Building owned by Diane Giesler, and notice an ugly red splotch in front of the building on the sidewalk We are told it was made by Jack Haar I got there as a result of a falling out lt was this falling out that gave Diane the Idea for her book lt s called When a Man Falls 50 Ston res He Spreads All Over the Sidewalk Diane tell us she has no idea as to how he tell out There has been quite a court battle going on It is the state vs Jim Hamilton and Allen Harder Their council Judy Hasselkus is arguing the point was it-fherr fault that they happened to be at the spot of the murder with a still smoking tommy gun in their hands she says you can t convict a person on me e circumstantial evidence The murder vac tim was Larry Henkle, P esrdent of the United States Larry wasn t really a bad President I was lust the small things that he did like selling Alaska back to the Russians, or throwing a party for the Mau Mau s and then selling the capitol for a little extra pocket money All we have to say is R I P 110 S I . . . . . . , . . . l. li. . , n I ' ' . , .
