62216 Q 20 asf and ceegfamenf We, the Senior Class of '53, being of sound mind and body, do will and bequeath to the Junior Class our ability to solicit ads for the Year Book, to the Sophomore Class our charm and originality, and to the Freshman our self-confidence. I, Donald Bageant, do will and bequeath my trips to Brunswick to Joe Dodson, Benny Cameron, and Forrest Willingham, also to Paul Staubs the job of keeping my girl friends in line. I, Dale Clabaugh, do will and bequeath my position as Student Council President to Sonny Hough and my number N6n football and basketball uniforms to Gerald Jamison. I, Frances Clevenger Myers, do will and bequeath my ability to blush to anyone who can take Mr. Clowser's teasing and my ability to write letters to Nancy Gray. I, Myrna Clevsnger, do will and bequeath my ability to get in trouble to anyone who has enough nerve to want it and my ability to have sweet dreams of Bob Horn to Virginia Lloyd. I, Maxine Crawford, do will and bequeath all the fun I've had in high school to my sister, Virginia, and my seat in democracy class to Ann Burkhart. We, Benny Cameron and Joe Dodson, do will and bequeath our lost week- ends, empty aspirin bottles and coffee cups to anyone who is fool enough to do what we did. we also bequeath our hot tips on the-races to Mr. Doyle and our ability to run the movie projector to Wager Rissler and Bobby Wilt. I, Mary Janet Dillow, do will and bequeath my note book to anyone who can use it for four years as I have done and to my cousin Charles Gary all my senior school books. I hope he finds more use for them than I have. I, Donald Dopson, do will and bequeath my afternoons off to Sonny Hough and my ability to beat him in the ribs to Jack Horn. May he more luck than I did. I, Dixie Lee Gageby, do will and bequeath my seat in band to my cousin Donna and my position as pianoist to Carol Wilt. May they have as much fun as I have had during my years in school. I, Lloyd Hough, do will and bequeath my position on the basketball team to Don Trundle. I, Mary Martin, do will and bequeath my cheering position to Edna Mae Dillow and my office practice book to anyone who likes homework and tests. I, Bill Mercer, do will and bequeath what little ability to argue that I have to anyone who is foolish enough to take it and my ability to get along with the teachers to everyone. I, Betty Pat Murphy, do will and bequeath my majorette uniform to Jeanne Allen and the care of my seventh grade phy. ed. class to anyone who has the ability to answer questions. May they both keep their tempers a little better than I did.

I, Paul 'Soapyn Staubs, do will and bequeath my ability to make the baseball team but never to finish the season with it to anyone who can participate in the sport and not get kicked off and also to anyone who gets old no. WZON in football, take care of itg it's a good number. I, Peggy Tomblin, do will and bequeath all my shorthand troubles to anyone who is planning to take the subject and all the enjoyment I've had in high school to my best friend, Lillian Holmes. I, Charles Webb, do will and bequeath my ability to win the shop award and my second year of shop to Willis Smallwood. I, Gene Whittington, do will and bequeath my ability to pick a winning horse at Charles Town to Mr. Doyle. I, Forrest Willingham, do will and bequeath my ability to get along with girls to any boy who is brave enough to take it. I, Norman Willingham, do will and bequeath my position of second base on the baseball team to anyone who is willing to try out and work hard for it, and will play for the betterment of our school. I, Jean Wilt, do will and bequeath my yacht on which I cross the Shenandoah each morning to school Cwhen the river wasn't too highl to the public welfare. I, Samuel Granville Wright, do will and bequeath all my half baked humor to one who needs it more than I, James Pope. I give to my brother Richard my athletes foot. To all the young girls in the school I willingly give all my hugs and kisses. I, Shirley Zombro, do will and bequeath my position as cheer leader to Frances Lewis, and also my seat in the shorthand room to Dewey Meadows. I hope they have as much fun as I did. We, Jean Wilt, Betty Ann Singhas, Myrna Clevenger, Dixie Lee Gageby, and Hary Janet Dillow, do will and bequeath to any group of five our ability to get along together. -4
