Emil Calzaretta, Cliff Mclllnay, Ray Polino, Bill Rooney and Bill Angelo were among the outstanding aggressors in every game. Unfortunately Mr. Wasserman was unable to keep them together for a single game until the last o11e with Bowen which they promptly won by a score of six to nothing. Dl Q0 D DEMO The Cardinal Nine had an exceptionally good team this year with six letter- men returning. Backed by the hitting of Dan Mitchell and Al Smith and the pitching of Lloyd Brill and Captain Don Schultz, the Cardinals showed their power. Beside the returning lettermeu, there were several rookies, such as Ed Devereux and John Nloscus who played far above pre-season expectations. Q , if W , H .
