MISS GLADIYS FALAHEY DEDICATION It gives the staff great pleasure to dedicate this the 1937 edition of the Shield, to such a lovable and everwilling person as lVIiss Gladys Falahey. As teacher and publication adviser of the newspaper, Miss Falahey has worked toward higher aims in the fulfillment of her duties. Be- cause of her untiring efforts the Harper Highway has become a well-known newspaper among other high-schools throughout the city. Miss Falahey took her position as publication adviser three years ago, and has worked miraculousl to interest the students in 'ournalism. OREWORD MANY HOURS of preparation were needed to assemble this 1937 Shield and to give it that certain audience appeal that every good broadcast requires. The highlights are mirrored here for all to see. WE WISHED to preserve all the events of the SCDl0I',S most important program and so that those who stay will be able to reproduce this big broadcast at a moment's notice.
