MALAYSIA A new port visit to most everyone on the ship and one of our shortest was Penang, Malaysia. The crew soon found themselves in for two days of shopping, a Island Tour and many hours of sightseeing. The most popular stop was the Pure Cloud Temple or as the more popularly known Snake Temple. Legend has it that upon the completion of the temple, snakes mysteriously ap- peared making it their refuge. These divine Ones are of the variety known as Wagler's Pit Viper whose bite can be highly poisonous.
