Falling in Love With You Waiters and Waitresses: John Brink, Jon Storhoff, Dino Lange, Brian Matson, Dan Girolamo. Front Row: Denise Voigt, Carrie Storhoff, Susan Harstad, Karen Torgerson, Sandy Scrabeck The class of '79 chose “Falling for the theme of this year's prom. It began with the traditional banquet and speeches. The Invocation was given by Ruth Harstad, the Welcome by Penny Hegg, Class History by Chris Skaalen, Class Will by Kevin Prinsen, a poem read by Chris Storhoff and the benediction by Charlie Todd. The Sophomore waiters and waitresses served the banquet. The main course was ham. Following the banquet, the dance was held. Music was provided by Centre Stage . The gym was decorated beautifully with bright crepe paper, a pond, a waterfall, and a summerhouse with hedges on the floor. The Grand March was led by Ruth Harstad and her date, while the band played the theme song Falling . The night was enjoyed by all.

HOMECOMING The 1978-1979 Homecoming festivities began on Thursday, Sept. 28, with Coronation. Dave Hanlon and Sharon Hansen were voted King and Queen, with Tracy Alfson and Tina Sommer becoming Junior King and Queen. On Friday night the football game was a success with Harmony beating Wykoff 42-0! Afterwards there was a Homecoming dance put on by the Sophomores.
