The play consisted of fourteen individual sketches about tumbling American life. Each sketch was complete in itself, but they were all tied together by Thurber’s unmistakeable style, which is usually referred to as Thurberesque”. Through his subtle humor and satire, Thurber gives you an opportunity to laugh at our fellow human beings by depicting their various situations comically. The situations were all recognized and associated with, for many of the audience have encountered similar circumstances in their own lives. John Bellingham and Deb Voigt were voted best actor and actress by the members of the cast. The Senior class presented “A Thurber Carnival on April 6 and 7. 82
