Basketball The 1966-67 basketball squad, coached by Jack Nichols. chairman of the Health and Physical Education Division. enjoyed the most successful season of any Harford varsity team. Led by Rick Corsetto, the nations' leading Junior College scorer with a 38.5 per game average, the Owls racked up an 18-6 record overall and finished 5-3, good enough for a third place tie, in the Tri-State Conference. The Owls finished fourth in the Con- ference tournament, missing third place by the whisker of an overtime loss t102-105t to Montgomery J.C. Besides Corsetto, John Battle, Dave Foley, Bob McCone, and Ron Stearn made outstanding contributions to the team. The bench, in the words of Coach Nichols, Ncame through when we needed it.

Season highlights included a two-hitter pitched by Corsetto against Catonsville and a four-for-four day Uncluding two homers and a doubley by Hillesland against Potomac State. The team finished third in the Tri-State Conference.
