i$$ . ; V. i . W P jumur college volum 9 VI from 1957 to this past year, Harford Junior College was thought of as a hyper-high school. we had no campus, only a few spare rooms andafew facilities in which to have our activities. under these conditions it was difficult for students to identify with the college, or develop enthusiasm for the few activities that were available. at the beginning of this year we moved to our new campus and were given a chance to change all this. the student body re- sponded with energy and enthusiasm. at least two new traditions were started, a freshman-sophomore football game, and a faculty-student basketball game; dances, films, student meet- ings, all activities were marked by a tremendous increase in participation. all of this was accomplished by the individual student shattering the old boundaries. the Owl staff is proud to dedicate the 1965 yearbook to the new Harford Junior College student--the individual on campus who has made the accomplishments of the past year possible. dr. alfred c. o'connell president dr. clyde a. goodrum dean of instruction business manager ' mr. joseph s. treu director of student personnel director of admissions mr. edward c. kuhl mrs. dorothy s. dare ,m, i miss loretta byrne, french miss frances e. brown, head librarian mr. joseph bogdan mathematics gen. henry black, bus. admin. mr. rolf holmes, chemistry dr.
