Sounds of jazz Come Alive in Talented Horns of Stardusters Once again the Stardusters' horns, drums, and assorted musical talents gave many enjoyable listening hours to enthusiastic audiences. Playing the sounds of the big-band era and up- beatingu their performance with re- cent numbers, the band gave shows for several city schools and other crowds. Director of the Stardusters was again Ed Miller. This year Keith Swihart assisted Mr. Miller on the band's productions. Combined with the main numbers of the group were the several individual acts by musical- ly talented Harding students. Cary Boggs, Ted Wilson, Harry Biffle, and Mike McGraw teamed up to form a 5 r F - r sl IW 4 9: . l 1 ' iff, V, M i .,i.! ' il sg 1 ii i : O n ,A f ix, I barbershop quartet complete with kazoos. The trio consists of Bob Floyd, on piano, Bob Briehoupt, on percussion, and Bruce Burton on gui- tar. All members were sophomores.
