ACADEMICS Teachers who care add to knowledge gained from books Harding students found something in education besides that which was in books. Sometimu in fact, the books did not even get the attention they de- served in the midst of pep ralliw, out- ings, club meetings, late night bull sash sions in the dorm, and just plain goof- ing off on a sunny afternoon. Teachers who cared reminded the student just what college was for, and in spite of the value of social experienom, he found that there were some things he just had to settle down and learn for himself.
