Always with the interest of the student body and the college as a whole in mind, they have form- ulated the policies, made the decisions, and guided the college throughout the thirty-six years of its exis- tence. Dedicated to the progress of Christian educa- tion, these men, who give liberally of their time and energy without receiving monetary compensation, are the very backbone of Harding College. L. M. Graves, MD., of Memphis, Tenn, has served as Chairman of the Board since 1954.
