True it is that many happy hours are ahead in this period of time called childhood. The passing of a few years brings growth--physical, mental, and spiritual--to the child. During junior high school years, his interests are varied. He possesses great pride in his school and still finds that life is exciting. Time may seem to crawl, stagger, or race, but re- gardless of its rate of speed, we find our child no long- er a child but a youth ready for graduation. He glances over the preceding years with mixed emotion, but the pre- dominant feeling is one of happiness--the happiness that comes through warm friendships, hard work, and a job well done. What of the future? Time again will bring excite- ment--this time the excitement of building a better world Our youth can help to accomplish this great task because he is well prepared. During his formative years he has developed a sense of social responsibility, a mature judgement, and a spirit of determination. Watch our American youth as TIME MARGHES ON! r .. L ff!--, ,, . World Society is enjoying a peaceful breathing spell from a decade of war-monger rule---we hope it ls a permanent one. These and many other indications reveal the March of Time, even in the curriculum of our high school. This year, we find the addition of four units of Vocational Agricul- ture, two units of Latin as well as an 'On the Farm Trainingn for Veterans of World War II---an Adult Education project. Surely but irrefutably, our local curriculum must meet the needs of the Presentg the Pastg and the Future--thus, TIM MARCHES ON. IN VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS e n-..
