CLASS HI TORY OF I954 We the follow1ng persons began our Hrgh School career ln 1950 Joe Carter Eddy Hawkms Carl Banks Edward Nredens Loma Murray Wanell Rlder Luc1lle Van Buren B111 Haughton Robert Cooper Delorls Ne1dens Myrna Elllott Glor1a Trent Fleta Gnmmer Jacob Fast Josephme Cooper Harry Wysong and Frank Ingels We were the largest class 1n H1gh School and some say the W1ldest but 1n trme we settled down There were part1es of all klnds and sorts there were skatmg partres surprlse partres hay r1des we1ner roasts Halloween part1es and Just plam partres Then we became Sophomores wlth fewer pup1ls to our credrt but we were st1ll a noted group as we gave the fxrst Sophomore play The name of xt was Feudmg 1n Hllls frghtmg everyone from the revnooers to the electrrc hght company We also had the school kmg and queen 1n our Sophomore group They were Carl Banks and Josephme Cooper Though we began our freshman year seventeen strong we Juruors have only erght people 1n our class Several moved away some qurt and others got marued We have had very few class PBIIICS and l1ttle excttement but walt untrl next year when we Seruors of 1954 plan to be noted agarn And say 1f any of you st11l have your old erghth grade class prophecy ly1ng around d1g It up and read lf You d be surpused how much of lt has come true But don t ex pect too much After all ll stxll has s1x years to go We leave these words as a last remembrance of the Junrors of 1953 because we won t get to have another annual when we re Semors So when you read th1s rn the years that follow remember all our swell tlmes together and the wonderful fnend sh1ps of the past We are now work1ng on our lunlor play Trouble Shooter . the Hills , as wild and funny a family as you would find anywhere in the Oklahoma
