MUSICAL CHAIRS The drum roll sounded and the reaction of the spectators was to stand for the playing of The Star Spangled Banner played by the marching band during pre-game. Half-time draws large crowds to watch the marching band execute different drills and manuvers. After marching band season is over, the band comes inside to split up into two bands, the Symphonic Band and the Wind Ensemble, to begin rehearsals for the winter concert. Some of the band members also play in the orchestra and the stage band, which practice from the beginning of the year to also present a winter concert. The choir is made up of students who wish to sing and they meet during school as a credited class. Within the choir there are students who are members of the Madricals, Harborlights, and Harbornights, who meet and rehearse under their own supervi- sion. They also perform in the winter concert. Other classes that meet during the day are guitar, taught by Mrs. Sumner, theory class, taught by Mr. Czena, and the conducting class, taught by Mr. Domencetti. x 1 U4 .
