M. Phillips, J. Matthews, J. Bond, J. Clarke, T. Cummings. Board of Education and Superintendent The Board of Education is the body which formulates school policies. It works with the superintendent in selecting teach- ers, and is responsible for the school facil- ities and finances. Through its efforts, we will have a new gymnasium and addtional classrooms next year. Principals School Secretary The school secretary keeps al school records. She is in charge of lockers, the book store, the hot lunch program. all office work for the superintendent, and the school payroll. The principals supervise teachers, have charge of discipline, present student sug- gestions to the Board, and guide students in their many decisions. In addition. they both teach. Mrs. Stradtner is an elementary teacher and Mr. Walker teaches trigonom- etry and eighth grade geography. and is the student council adviser. W fi Mr. William C. Mr. Donald Aylesworth received his B.S. degree from Western Michigan University. Ile is our speech correction teacher. ,.,.,. ew ' ' lg , ...,,, f ,W ,, e Mr. Edward Beer, our commer- cial instructor, received his B.S. degree from Ferris Institute. He is also our ski coach. Miss Joyce Baker received her B. S. degree from Boston Univers- ity. She is our girls' physical edu- cation and seventh grade science teacher, and directs the cheer- leaders and the pep club. These Are The People Miss Lois Jane Corey received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Michigan State University. She teaches English ten, eleven, and twelve, speech, journalism. directs the girl's ensemble, and sponsors the T.A.B. Club. -15- Mr. William T. Baker received his B.A. degree from Western Michigan University and his M.A. degree from the University of Michigan. He teaches social science eleven and twelve, and is also the conservation instructor and athletic director. Mr. Ivan S. Davis II received his B.S. degree from Central Michigan College. Ile is our education and seventh and eighth grade math. instructor.
