He is the athletic director and has helped our cheerleaders and basketball team obtain new uniforms, as well as performing the many routine duties ol this job. Mr. Walker is also the advisor of the student council. Because ot all he has done, we would like to award him the highest honor that is in our power to bestow, the dedication of the i958 RAMPAGE. -3-

l g FOREWORD Looking back in the history of football at Harbor Springs we have found that the first recorded football game took place on October 5, 1918. Harbor lost to Boyne City and Charlevoix, but we did win from Petoskey with the big score of 10-0. Since 1918, Har- bor has improved very much in football. We have a new stadium called the Ottawa Indian Stadium which seats people from all over northern Michigan. It takes a great deal of practice, hard work, and patience to put a year book out, just as it does to make a good football team. We are proud to present the 1958 Rampage to you completely based on a football game. So, what are we waiting for? Let's get start- ed with the game!

Memorial STANLEY HOWARD TAYLOR The RAMPAGE staff of nineteen-hundred and fifty-eight wish to pay tribute in this annual to the memory of Stanley Taylor, who on February 14, 1955 went to a far better place than we have ever known. He started a Bible Christian Club for boys from eight to twelve years of age. He was a cheerful and willing helper, and a good friend to everyone who knew him. -4-
