LETS GO Throughout our four years at Harbor, the class of '77 has helped to ring in new teachers, but at the same time have seen many leave us. As freshmen we came to Harbor 3 little uneasy, not knowing anything about the teachers names that appeared on our schedules. A few of us were relieved to see Mr. Pavolino, Miss Dickey, and Mrs. Workman-friendly faces from good ole, Columbus J r. High. But the rest of us, as we soon discovered, were victims of several rookie teachers. For instance, Mrs. Morosld, Mr. Gregor, and Mr. Cosmi were all undertaking honors classes for their first times, and it surely showed. We were hit with more work than we,d ever seen! One bad year down, and three to go. Our sophomore year was when we were supposed to have fun-if you considered suffering through Mrs. Workman's ltdiffl- Seniors 20 cultll English classes as fun. The girls saw a new style of gym and health come about with Mrs. Lautanen ta little more than just playing basketbalD. Those who took choir had to learn to settle down, since Mrs. Lillie replaced Miss Dickey, and decided she wanted to direct a choir rather than a 200. As sophomores, we got our first taste of Mr. Josson in IPS, but that was before he took up karate and went around trying out his moves on us. Not too many changes took place during our junior year. Our first year football coach, Mr. Platano, led us through a winning season. We were again being passed around to different teachers as Mr. Wasulko took over Algebra II Hon- ors. We couldn,t complain much there, though. tMrs. DePeiro sure did give easy testsD One of the most surprising changes was when Miss Boyce, backbone of Har- bor Higlfs Seniors, left us, and a similar replacement entered. As juniors, we got a whole year to check-out Mrs. Kleesattel before entering into her clutches. Our senior year came, We were bound and determined not to let the teachers get away with anything! A lot of us succeed- ed, too. The time came to show Mrs. Kleesattel who was boss. Most of the time she listened. Although we didnit have any new teachers to hassle, the old ones got enough trouble from us. Teachers come, and teachers go, but the good ones will never let you down. To those like Mr. Huff, Mr. and Mrs. Ede- burn, and Mr. Utz, we commend you for your lasting endurance and the discipline you taught us; and to all those others, we challenge you to continue your tremen- dous work. From the class of 477-dontt let us down!

'bPARTY 0N 'k Notably puttieipating in various kinds ofentertaimnent. the seniors initiated many unusual things to spend their time on. Parties were the highlite of many otherwise dull and boring weekends. Who could forget the party at Nappihs Plaza? There were many unsouped windows that Halloween night. attributed to the fact everyone was dancing. Many kids visited the slopes during the winter months. and then hit the beaches us the summer be- gun to emerge again. Wehll never forget the things we've done. and in the future we'll look back fondly and remember all the fun.
