The 1975 100117;:11 squad had it vuly sucocsstul season under the direction of coach Dzm Plutuno. They ended their season with an 8-1 record. '1 hey highlighted the season by capturing the City Series. The team showed great spirit and talent as they almost had the N1iC title in their hands before fulhng to tho undefeated Gcncvu Eagles. Kaiser Holman led the squad with em atmzing 1.642 yards rushing 10 break Harbofs old school record 011 1588 yards buck in 1958. Kaiser was voted player of the week three times. Other Mariners voted phiycr of the week were; Brett HorvutIL Paul Clark. and Tony Romano. Kaiser Holman was the NFC scoring champ with 15 touchdowns and 6 extra points for a total onb points. Barry Shick was tied For 7111 with three other NEC players with three touchdowns and 18 extra points. This yearis team was led by w-cup- rains Kaiser 1101111311 and Brett llor- vath. The Freshman football team under the coaching of Dave Quine and Richard Puvolino ended their season with a 2-5 record. The squad suffered many defeats but were determined and full ofspirit and enthusiasm. The squad won their first game against Conneaut with a score 0f38-12. They lost to JR. Williams with a score of 8-12. One of the most exciting games of their season was against St. John. The squad played hard but still fell to them by a score of 0-6. The team is determined to have a successful season next year and plans to improve their record. The J.V. football team undcr the coaching ofJohn Rose ended a fine season with a 33 record.
