Long-time Teacher ls Honored Mr. Olivcr Kuut'a came to Harbor h High School seventeen years ago us the band director. Hc brought with hlm many diversiftsd musical talents and an understanding of young people. At Harbor Mr. Kuttru initiated the Pops Concert in Wbb and the return of Harbor graduates as guest dircctots for the Spring Concert. He keeps active in the cmnmuttity by directing the Bethany Lutheran Church choir. Two of his greatest uccmnplishmcnts urc to belong to the American Scltunl Band Directors Association and to have re- ceivcd the Spark Plug of the Month Award in 1972. The 1975 Mariner staff dedicates this yearbook to Mr. Oliver Kuuru. Though he is not in direct contact with the majority of the students. his talent humor and guidance have affected the lives of many people for years. Mr, Oliver Knura.
