WWW Good evening ladies and gentlemen. This is your good neighbor station W, H. H. S. bringing you the eleventh hour news hot off the wires in our W. H. H. S. newsroom. Since the seniors of 1955 from Harbor High School have been making the headlines, tonight we have a special report on how they all have survived in this atomic era. First we shall take up some of the more serious of their achievements. After graduating from Alliance College with a Ph. D. majoring in physics and advanced mathematics, Francis DeGennaro is now revising Einstein's Theory of Relativity. In the field of literature we find that Clyde Koski has written a book entitled My Trials in the Pit. To date a million copies have been sold. J. E. tMaen- pa, that isi is reported to have bought ten copies, since the book was dedicated to him. J. E. is also proud of Gerald Bordeaux, who is editor of the NEW YORK HERALD. Gerald enjoys writing editorials on the work of his old classmate, William Stegall, who is the 38th President of the United States. He was elected on the Democratic ticket. We have an idea that he had some help from the multi- millionaire stockbroker, Bill Smith, of Wall Street. We are sorry to say that some have failed to uphold the high standards of the class of'55. Among these we find Robert Cronquist, WHO is compiling notes for a book about his experiences in the Siberian salt mines. Tom Watts was recently brought to trial for siphoning gasoline from a local service station. He was given two years at hard labor despite the competent efforts of his famous criminal lawyer, Jane Koski. Flash--A bulletin has just come through the Teletype in our newsroom here at W. H. H. S. Michael Kaihlanen is wanted by the F. B. I. dead or alive. If found dead, please apply moistened postage stamp and address to: Mr. Charles Altonen, Head Embalmer, Peabody Funeral Home, Chicago, Ill. Thank you. Those of you who do not have a postage stamp handy immediately contact Miss Mary Jo O'Connor, head postage stamp licker at the Harbor Pony Express. Also in the postal business we find JoAnn Jeffers, head postmistress in Kings- Ville. There are also a number of specialists in this class. Among them is Vicki Kinnunen, head fish cleaner at Lake Erie Fish Company. Bette Mackey is in charge of lifting the Harbor lift bridge when it gets stuck. Carol Dean has reached her goal in journalism, as she writes the obituary column for the STAR BEACON. iTurning to another fieldi On Carpenter Rd. we find Dick Hill and John Sand- berg, co-owners of a. huge three-acre farm. They have taken in two jobless farmhands, Katy Beckwith and Kathy Lackson. These girls were willing to work for practically nothing because they just love. . .farming. Also working for practically nothing are Mary Ann Gustafson and Connie Cafaro, garbage collectors, under the able direction of Ernest Hewins, Com- missioner of Sanitation. In the driver's seat ofherglistening white truck we spy Janet Millberg, who has finally made it after taking the truck driver's test 23 times. WalterSchramm, following in the somewhat damp footsteps of Ed Norton of the Jackie Gleason Show, is the sewer cleaner for the Division of Public Works. Assistant to the assistant's assistant at the Unemployment Bureau is Boneita Perskari. We always knew she would make good.
