“The next year something new wa added Upto,the third floor went twenty eight very nervous and anxious freshman Just one look at the mighty Sophomores told us they were out to get revenge Our roll call wasCerol Berndt, Marlys Bladow, Paul Bladow, Betty Boldt, Barbara Dude, Howard Johnson, Kerman Krause, Alun Krump, Donna Krump, Lorralne Kuehl, GeraldLena, Violet Lenz, Merlin Medenwaldt, Elna Melcher,Da1'cey Miller, Lois Muekder, James Pietz, Carl Peterson, Milo Popp, Lucille Reinke, Delores Roeder, Carole Scheller, Orville Roeder, Gordon Schmitz, John Sturgess, Audrey Thomas, Leslle Vanderhoff, and Donald Horner At Christmas time we gained blame Polfuss and LeRoy Prochnow Darcey Miller was elected Carnlval Queen Mr Ernst was our class advisor and lead us successfully through our first year of high school The next year with Mr Sherman as our advisor we initiated the littlegreen freshman We gained one new classmate Doris Jane Mourer but, lost Karmen Krause, Merlm Medenwaldt, Carl Peterson and Gordon Schmitz Our carnival queen candidate that year was Marlys Bladow In our junior year we neither gained nor lost any students With sold refreshments at football games and gave a play called The Swamp House' With the funds we gave our upper classmates a banquet and prom. The Hawai1an themswas used, with Hawaiiandecorations andentertainmant Lois Muehler and Betty Boldt were chosen as homecoming attendants Againthis class won honors this yearas our queen candidateDoris Maurer was elected queen Our semor year came into view and with it came many new respon- sibilities We found we lost two students, James Pietz and Leslie Vanderhoff Our advisorswere Mr Lazenbyand Miss Gorman Miss Gorman coached our play The Sixth Key while Mr Lazenby helped us with The Pirate and graduation exercises Carole Schellerand Donna Krump were were electedas homecoming attendants Lucille Reixmewas elected carni val queen We climaxedour senior year by taking a trip to Hibbing and Duluth Looking back over our four year of High School we fi md that our class has had three carnival queens which entitled ua to three skip days Cthat everyone enjoyedl We have given two class plays and many school parties We find that the basketball team has twice taken the Wild Rice Championship and the football team has gained the right to take the football trophy for two years. We w1ll always remember our classmates and never forget the good times we have had together The classhas pickedas their motto 'One Step Atl Time But, Always Forward the colors are Silver Gray and Old Rose and the Class Flower is Yellow Rose e Miss Olson and Miss Levinas our class advisors we gave school parties,
