lili Otulf Respects If this year is to be remembered for any one thing in the lives of the students of Hampton Institute, it will surely be remembered as the year that Albert Wright did not spend with the class of 1964. Albert was born on June 10, 1942, to Mr. and Mrs. William T. Wright of Eastville, Virginia. As a little boy Albert was alert, observant, and interested in people. In his later childhood years, Albert served his church efficiently and willingly as secretary of the Sunday School, member of the Junior Choir, and as an usher. He attended Eastville Elementary School and the Northampton County High School from which he was graduated in I960. During his high school days, Albert was always a conscientious and serious student. He participated in many extracurricular activities. During his final year in high school, Albert was elected President of the senior class. In September, I960, Albert enrolled here as a freshman. Eor three years he pursued a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Eor three years we strolled to class with Albert; we chatted with him in the dining hall; we laughed with him in the grill; we hailed him on the block;” we worshipped with him in the College Chapel. In August, 1963, death came to Albert Wright. We shall always remember him for the fond memories which he has given us. In appreciation of these many memories, we, his fellow classmates, seek to honor Albert in some way. We wish to share Albert’s college days with his family and friends. We give back these memories to Albert: we, the class of 1964, dedicate to Albert Jefferson Wright our book of memories—the 1964 Hamptonian. 4
