CAR LTON FOOKS THOMAS 5 ' 9 General Brown eyes--brown hair Here is a typical three-letter man. lle's tops in track, plays first-string varsity basketball, and is the fastest leg man of our soccer team. None of it has gone to his head eitherg that's an example of his modesty. When we say modest we don't mean shy. He's quite a ladies' man, as you can probably tell. In fact, he's everybody's man. PAUL JOSEPH YINGLING 6' 5 General Brown eyes--black hair Paul, better known as the Eiffel Tower's double, is a happy-go-'lucky sort of fellow, who's always helping others in his friendly manner. Paul is the greatest class tease, and in the middle of any excitement. Basketball has always been his first love. We'll remember you, Paul. 13 JOAN ELENOR STANSBURY Academic 5 5 ' 6 s Blue eye s--blonde hair To us this girl is the most resolute of any one in our class. She likes to think for herself and do for herself. Her manner is a tribute to her appear- ance, which is always very attractive. Her blonde hair attracts many beaus, making her a very popu- lar girl. She is interested in church work and has strength of character. She plans to attend Union Memorial Hospital for nurse's training. This girl is one of the friendliest in the class. GERALDINE ROMAINE WERNER Commercial 5' 3 Blue eyes--light,brown hair Gerry is our beauty queen, and has been seen in many beauty contests. No wonder, she really has what it takes! And that's not all, she has the sweetest disposition you could imagine. I don't know who the lucky boss will be Qshe wants to be a private secretaryj but we all envy him. P.S. She must be intelligent because she's president of the Student Council.

VIRGINIA ANN SEAKS Academic 5 l 6 H Blue eyes--brown hair It is fair to say this sweet kid is probably the most popular girl in the school. She has the most pleasant of personalities in the Senior Class. One of her personal traits is that she never takes sides in an argument. We'll always remember Ann's nice ways and feel certain she'll soon obtain her M.. R. S. degree. PATRICIA MARIE SHERIDAN General Business 5 ' SMH Blue eyes--blonde hair Pat has been with us only for about a year but she certainly has made a hit with all of the class . . . She's the spryest chick in our class. She makes friends easily. Once she is your friend, she stays so. We all have enjoyed you, Pat, and we'll miss you, but we wori't forget you. RICHARD ELLSWORTH TALBERT General Business 5 l 4 H Brown eyes--brown hair Bud is a General Business student and is ex- tremely interested in making the most of his school years. He has successfully blended seri- ousne ss of nature and a smile to produce a look of distinction which is a rarity in young men of our age. Bud will be pleased at having such a noble appearance, for a good impression is a must in the business world, and Bud is all business. 12 615 EDDIE CLINTON SIMMONS Academic 5 l 9 H Brown eyes--brown hair This boy has one outstanding characteristic, and that is that he'll never say I quit. You'll probably hear him say, I'll try. Ed is serious, but only because he has to be. As Editor-in-Chief of the school paper, he has worked against terrific odds and succeeded. He has strength of character, but above all the desire to work with and for others. He'll do well in college, and you can bet your life that he'll never let anyone down.
