He enjoys reading science fiction and has also been referred to as the Ferocious Frenchman . Nevertheless, he represents a well-rounded individual of diver sified abilities and interests. Scott plans to enter the field of sacred music at Fort Wayne Bible College. He should get along well, both scho- lastically and socially, as he has a most pleasant personality. So if you see a handsome, smiling band leader, look twice--it might be Scott. Other interests are art, literature, music, and dancing. Her desire to help others gives her winning ways. A fashion-setter in every sense of the word, probably because she has such good taste. He's what you'd call the perfect practical jokester. But he never pulls a prank to be smart: it's just to let you know that he's around and we all like him for it. ROBERT EDWARD PORTERFIELD Academic 5 ' 11 Green eyes--brown hair Robert is, without a doubt, one of the ablest leaders a class could hope for. He was unani- mously elected senior class president, and has successfully done his duty. He has an interest in furthering his education, particularly in the field of photography. He's already a crack semi- professionalist. We were lucky to have such a leader in our class. EARL LYNN RILL General 6' Brown eyes-brown hair Lynn is our star basketball player. He is one of the leaders of the league in scoring. He is also interested in mechanical work and keeping his car in good shape. Another thing for which he is noted is his dead- pan but humorous expressions. He has a special knack for making people laugh at no one's ex- pense. That's why he has so many friends. He plans to enter the army or air force. 10 MARJORIE ANN RILL Commercial 5 '4Z H Hazel eyes--black hair We all think Margie looks a lot like Liz Taylor. However, she is more interested in being a secre- tary than a movie star. Her attractive clothes and hair style would draw the attention of anyone. She is a very helpful and willing worker around school. Best of luck, Margie! JANICE LaRUE RICHARDS Commercial 5 ' 6 Blue eyes--blonde hair More people have seen Janice laughing than any other way and, brother, don't ever try to kid her because you'll get the worst end of the bar- gain. She always has a remark ready, sometimes amusing, but always effective. She has more intimate friends than any other senior. The reason, of course, is her desire to comfort and help every- one. It is safe to say she could never hurt any- one's feelings. lt's just her nature.
