Standing by front window, freshman girls gaze out at outside activities during lunch hour. Student life remains constant Besides the usual amount of studying, books, homework and tests, HHSers experience moments of liveliness in their school day. Auditorium sessions, club periods, field trips, pep sessions and lunch hours all aided in the reduction of student boredom. P.A. announcements, green slips, copying homework, debating with counselors, visiting Dean Barr, receiving salutations from Dr. Feuerbach, cafeteria food and low study hall attendance remained ever- present in student life. Still, faculty and administration felt it necessary to remind HHSers of the principal purpose of school — education — and urged students to act accordingly.
