In April, Indiana U. foreign lan- guage honors program announced Don Creasbaum and Louisa Hurt would spend summers in France; Gary Osborne and Mr. Tom Sch- wartz would fly to Germany. Scientists, senior Ann Palkovich and junior Theodore DuPont, took home gold and silver medals from regional science fair April 4, 5. Diane Radbel and Bonnie Frevert became outstanding journalists. Dennis Wagner won Arion award. In National Merit testing, four seniors earned commendation let- ters while two qualified as finalists. National Merit winners— FRONT ROW: April Williams, letter; LaVonne King, finalist; Monica Leeney, letter. ROW TWO: Don Johnsen, finalist; Nancy Norden’ letter; Michael Juergens, letter.
