After a year's absence, High School Day was rein- stituted on October 23. The day was organized around a theme of informality. Gone were the usual assemblies and convocations and in their places stood student guides, eager to accompany the high school students to classes, dorms, or any- where they would like to go on campus. The only organized portion of the day was lunch with a pro- fessor. In the afternoon, several organizations had members available to talk with the students about Hamline activities. The day was well-attended and considered a success. 'T' if . 45 Y LINER editor Carol Harbison explains the workings of a col- lege yearbook.

Parents' Weekend I-Iamlineis annual Parents' Weekend was held this year on September 26-27. The program for the two days included a panel discussion, Hamline on the Move, football game, student-parent church serv- ice, and entertainment by the Jazz Lab Band and A Capella Choir. More important, the weekend gave parents and students a chance to see each other on the students' home ground. Perhaps this set some Parents, minds at ease, perhpas it made others a little uneasy. In any case, many parents left the campus with a view of Hamline as a way of life as well as a place of learning.
