Hamline University Makes Big Actively reinacting the theme of looking to the future, Hamline begins construc- tion of a New Student Union. Included in the union will be meeting rooms, a ball room, and a large swimming pool adequate for holding competitive events. The modern building will provide an opportunity for students to have a central place for gathering. In addition to the convenience to be gained the Student Union will add greatly to the physical appearance of the Hamline campus. The con- struction of this building is a tangible sign of Hamlineis ability to look forward and plan ahead. Physical improvements on the campus are only the outward signs of many other inward improvements, showing Hamline's ever widening role and sphere of influence.
