We have stood together as one to face disappointments and discouragements and to live and have fun together. First Grade: Edith McGuirt signed her party invitations Edie and many guests didn't show up, because they knew no boy named Edie. Pat Robbins, the class brain, quickly became the teacher's pet. Johnnie Faye Ballantine announced her engagement to Kent Hicks with a dime ring. Second Grade: It's hard to believe, but Howard Helton didn't miss a single day of school! Third Grade: A fire drill couldn't keep Billy Sutton from braving the flames to save his new green tobog- gan. Mary Emily Roofe and Ginger Hamrick were frequently kept in after school for noisy flirting. Richard Mclver was the expert pot- holder-maker in the class. Sandra Campbell first threw her weight around as director of the rhythm band. Fourth Grade: james Smiley McKeithan started smiling and hasn't stopped yet.
