Doris Lassiter leaves her sunny disposition and her love for other people to all the rising Seniors. Shirley Matheson leaves first period study hall fwhat's left of itj to Robbie Reid, Sylvia McManus, and Hatsy Shortridge for next year's blah session. Gerry McDuffie Allen bequeathes her ability to get her man and keep him to Susan Hatcher. Arthur Mac McDuffie leaves enough of his football ability to Bruce King to make him an All-Star and the rest to the H.H.S. team be- cause they,ll need it in his absence. Lenna McEwen leaves whatever she's got to anyone who needs Whatever it is. Io Ann Mclver leaves her beautiful smile and figure to any rising Senior who needs the added touch to either. Charles Mn McKee relinquishes his title of star notebook paper bum to Charlie McCilvary. Iamie McLean bequeathes his French brains to Gene Hennecy so he may fail without half trying. Winnie Mitchum leaves her zeal for studying French to Jerry Sims, because he'll need it when she departs. Mary Lee Moon drops her A-model Ford driv- ing ability in Nancy Cato's lap with the advice, Learn to dodge people, they can do a lot of damage. Alex Morrison bequeaths his snare drum to Mr. Litaker for tomahawk practice. Iack Murphy leaves his solos in the Glee Club to Mike Pegram. Dotty Nelson relinquishes her fouling average in basketball to Iohnsie Pate saying, Be care- ful, it's deadlyf, Catherine Newton leaves her ability to write letters and wait patiently to Alice Bassinger. Billy Parker gives Rea,s Service Station back to Mr. Rea. Donald Peele leaves one et up bus to any- one who can drive the darn thing. Ernest Peele bequeathes his ability to drive busses to the driver of '53-'54. Bobby Peele leaves his attendance record of three-times-a-week to Eddie Terry. Roy Peele leaves his lust for blondes to Mike Pegram. Also his gentlemanly ways are hopeful- ly left to jerry Bullard. Shirley Quick leaves her life, liberty, and hgggiiness in Miss Flynt,s hands until June 1, Mary Ramey leaves her height to Ann Parker. Nellie Richardson leaves her ability to take shorthand dictation to any first year student who needs it. Gilbert Robertson leaves with the saying, It was a hard fight, but I won. Flora Robinson leaves her lunchroom job to Sue Ramey, if she still likes food. Martha Robinson relinquishes her bookkeep- ing book to Mr. Abdalla, because she can't take it with her. Bennie Lou Rogers leaves her good-natured ways to Miss Newton for the benefit of future history classes. Crey Singletary leaves his title of motion picture producer to anyone wishing to skip classes to run the machine. Bobby Stephens gives Birmingham's Drug Store back to the original owners. Bobbie Sutton leaves her wonderful disposi- tion to the entire high school. ' Douglas Walton bequeaths his ability to go steady to Eugene Wright and Eleanor jordan. Marjorie Warr leaves her love,' for school to Anita Bryson. Sammy Weatherly leaves his ability to say little and think much to Everette Cobble. Charles Williams wills his ability to keep quiet and learn to Eddie Terry. David Williams leaves his extraordinary wit to Rhoda Williams, who is somewhat lacking in it. Bobby Williams leaves his 12 years' and four summers' seniority at H.H.S. to be devided equal ly among Doug Cray, jimmy Shaw, and Mike Carnes. ,Scott Williams leaves his way with the teachers to john Newton. Donald Wilson bequeaths his ability not to get along with the ladies to the rising Senior boys. Martha Sue Woodall just leaves. To the rising Seniors we leave our Senior privileges. You get exempt once a year and are allowed to pay more money than anyone else in school. To the rising Iuniors goes our sympathy be- cause the jr. Sr. is lots of work, headaches, and fun.
