Eleventh Grade: Marjorie Warr and Catherine Newton knocked us all out with dia- monds, and Gerry McDuffie tied the final knot? The girls all swooned over Roy Peele's new convertible? Beverly Gibson and Douglas Walton started going steady? Peggy Hendley was frequently seen at the movies? Miss Flynt took Donald Peele under her wing determined to see that he passed? The Minnow-Hoss gang was formed with Bobby Hutchens as leader? We became known as uthe fighting Iuniorsn at Jr.-Sr. time? Jimmy Williams left us for the Navy, but Uncle Sam took Bobby Brigman away from Mr. Haltiwanger? Billy Parker didn,t go to the Hi-Y-Teen Banquet, because you had to have a date? Ernest Peele began Advice to the Lovelornv? Caroline Chavis and Miss Flynt became partners in English? Ike Gainey took over the football team and became head coach? Dot Billingsley and Eugene were steadies? A Rockingham class ring became a familiar sight when Shirley Quick was around? Twelfth Grade: Chris Comas came along and took Pete Hornaday away from all his fans? Clarke Carroll refused to pick up two girls, who asked for a ride to Indian Head Camp, as he didrft have enough gas? Dorcas Nelson came back from the Christmas holidays with a diamond? Mary Moon started driving an A-Model and carried Betty Iean Haynes along to push? Peggy Io Blakely got religion and started going with a preacher? Sammy Weatherly started driving a bus? This completes the history of our years of struggling together to learn a little reading, writing, and arithmetic. Some of it is good, some bad, but I am sure not one of us would want to change it.
