'l'heifBQginning and The End Smithsonian Institute Annapolis Carvel Hall WMM , D. C On March 11, 12, and 13th, a convoy of 7 buses from Spartanland invaded our Nation's Capital carrying 297 seniors, 16 chaperones, and Mr. Caffreyl During our three day stay, we toured many of the historic sites. We honored the Hotels Continental and Plaza with our presence and were honored to see monuments dedicated to the memories of Lincoln, Jefferson, and Washingtong the hallowed corriders of the Supreme Court Buildingg the wonders of the Smithsonian lnstituteg and the awesome rotunda of our nation's Capitol Building. We gazed with quiet and subdued respect upon the graves of our fallen President Kennedy and others Who, like him, gave their lives for our country. The buses carried home not only weary travelers, but also fond and cherished memories of the city of Washington, D. C. N . ffl sidpp 1 .
