Steiner! 's Ambassadors 4 'N. la Washington For 210 seniors, March 14, 15, and 16 were days packed to the brim with sights, excitement, fun, food, and friendships. Early Monday morning, last minute suitcase packers were busy preparing for their three day stay in the capital of our nation. First, a stop at Annapolis, then on to the Hotel Plaza where all was ready and waiting for us. That evening we attended the opening performance of Look Homeward Angel. We were early to bed and early to risel'-both in the A.M.'s, that is. Tuesday there was our picture being taken, then the money we saw printed, the Smithsonian Institute, the climb up Washington Monument, the impressive F.B.l., the busy National Airport, and the White House. Next, it was dinner at the Casino Royal and the personal appearance of the Mills Brothers. Wednesday morning all were sad,but a busy schedule kept our thoughts elsewhere. At the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier we saw the changing of the guard, snow began to fall at Mount Vernon and, at the Capitol building, we visited the Senate and House of Representatives, both of which were in session, With this we said adieu to Washington, but not without many expressions of appreciation to our class advisor, Mr. Konyhas, far the planning and supervising of this wonderful trip and for all our other senior class activities, and to Mr. Caffrey, our camera man, for those Washington trip movies which had their opening night, our Class Night. if xlib ffkf'-1- hgh. s
