WAYNE SCHENCK HARRY PORTER GEORGE SAAMS TOClsle Center Back Hail 270 Un: Varsity Although accompanied by some disappointments, Steinert's first season in varsity football competition was a good one, Coach Wilno's squad climaxed the season by turning back our arch-rival Hamilton 20-13 to provide an over-all record of 3 wins and 5 losses, ln the Spartan backfield was the powerful combination of Bob Mucciarelli, Jerry Buron, Rick Danser, and Don Dilatush, Strong playing in the line was supplied by Lou Maressa, John Kelly, Wayne Schenck, Joe Rosina, Ron Schuck, Bill Delate, and Dave Badeau. Due to Bob Zarr's broken leg, Larry Migliaccio was relied upon heavily in the offensive end position. Bob Mucciarelli, the team captain, had the additional honor of being chosen as a member of the first all-city team.
