Dedication Mrs. Imie Carpenter We, the staff of the 1983 LION with pleasure, dedicate this yearbook to Mrs. Imie Carpenter. “Miss Imie,” as she is better known, began teaching junior high mathematics in 1962. She teaches the students that math can be fun by teaching them to geometrically construct a butterfly and a cube. Every student knows that if you paint your constructions pink; you might pick up a few extra points. Miss Imie shows concern and takes a special interest in her students as well as the community. She is an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
