CLASS PROPHECY The Seniors of 1948 have not been idle, as you will see when you look in on them 10 years hence, in 1958. Please don't be surprised, they were quite unpredict- able. Murvin Clanton has a big laboratory near New Yord; he is currently working on an invention that will run cars without gasoline. Billy Rodgers now has a seat in the House of Representatives and is planning to be president, when he is old enough. Evelyn Bunn is still trying to decide whether she wants to stay in Hamburg or North Carolina. Dorothy Kelley is still handling the Clark family; that's Mrs. Jimmy Clark now. Mollie Brantly is making life happy for the Chapmans, Albert that is. Merle Kinniard owns the Palace Cafe. Jerry Cook runnning a Juke Joint in Mist, Arkansas. Ralph Higginbotham Pastor of the Promise Land Church, with Amelia as pianist. Ellis Holland singing in Curly Fox’s place on the Grand Ole Opra. Robert McClerkin jerking sodas at the Hamburg Drug. Flornce Sweeney fashion designer, living in Los Angeles. Billy Brown county judge, with a pretty secretary named Lois. Lawrence Carter runs an apartment house in Cooter. Doyle Coody Vice-President of Dreft Inc. Mary Beth Courson cover girl for the Life Magazine, and model for the Sake Fifth Avenue. Sybil Deal seriph editor of the Amos 'n Andy show. Jack Gee teaching agri. in Lake Village. Edith Powell running the Tunnel of Love at Coney Island. Bobby Riley seems to be at the State Sanitarium of Nebraska, but we don't know whether he is a doctor or a patient. Lucille Knight happy as the wife of the supt. of the Shoe Dept, at Monroe. Beactrice Miller teaching a dancing school at Mist, Arkansas. Evelyn Boyd cover girl for the Arkansas Farmer. Betty Ann Foote a member of the Riels Club or couldn't we say family easier. Marian McDuffie has become as Martin and living next door to Mollie at Arkansas Post, Arkansas. William Coleman took Dagwood's place in the movies. Johnnie Reddin runs the fire dept, at Snyder. Arkansas. Billy Bonds owner of the Elite and Pool Hall. Harry Ferguson Supt. of a New York School. Hazel Honeycutt School teacher in New York (Still holding her school day man.) Leola Streeter raising little Bucks at Monticello. Viola Blocker secretary for the rice company in Hamburg. Charlie Mae Lair Libran at H.H.S. Carrie Mae Stell married a preacher living in Savannah, Georgia. Aline Vaden writing nursery rhymes for Child Life . Jessie Tullos owns a blacksmith shop in Pine Hill.

I, Lawrence Carter will my love for play parties to Doyle Giles. I, William Coleman will my class behavior to Ralph Carpenter.
