FCJFIEVVOFID This past year has been one of numerous events which, undoubtedly, have affected all of us in one way or another. l'm sure you'll agree with me when I say that there were times this year when nothing seemed to go right. It was really frustrating and you might have even felt like giving up. But, looking back now, you see that everything has worked out, and you feel a sense of accomplishment in the fact that you met the challenge and overcame it. lt was our intention this year, while composing this book, to illustrate with pictures the good times as well as the bad. I think we have. We of the Echoes Staff hope that this yearbook will bring you many hours of enjoyment, and also, that it will help you to recall the people, places, and events that made Hamburg High School 1973-74. - M. Hackett

As we complete our high school years marked by good times and bad, we look back on two people who have had a long and devoted association with Hamburg High School. For the past twenty-five years, they have directed their energies toward making our time in school both rewarding and enjoyable. We, the students, owe them much. To enumerate all their contributions to our school over the years would hardly serve them justice. We feel their actions express more than any words can. We, the class of 1974, hope that this yearbook will serve to capture the pleasant memories of our years at Hamburg. lt is with this hope, and a great appreciation for their most able assistance, that we proudly dedicate our yearbook to Mr. and Mrs. Collins, who have served our school so unselfishly and with such enthusiasm.
