SENIOR CLASS THE SENIOR ADVISORY BOARD is com posed of each senior homeroom president vice-president, secretary, and treasurer Meeting at the discretion of Mrs. Birdsey the class advisor, the board handles the orders for caps and gowns, calling cards, and announcements. The class officers, to- gether with the advisory board, lead the senior class in managing such activities as the senior banquet, senior picnic, senior play, and the yearbook. The class ofticers must be chosen from the advisory board. In carefully choosing their officers, the senior class selects the ones whom they think will best guide them and whom they will be most willing to follow. EXECUTIVE couNclL TT T T Stroms, Benz, Mr. Ravel, McShane, Doran STUDENT COUNCIL STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council is the governing body of Hamburg High School. As such it brings problems and ideas from students to the attention of the principal, school administra- tion, and student body. Students and teachers together aid Mr. Ravel in setting up etticient school procedures, thus promot- ing harmony in student-teacher relations. Each homeroom president and vice-president is a member of this organization. Meetings are held every two weeks to discuss and act on current school issues. The four council officers form the executive council which meets on alternate weeks. The purchase of sweaters for varsity letter winners, the Foot- ball Dance and record dances after basket- ball games, and the editing of a school handbook are the activities sponsored by the Council.
