MR. SAMMY KENT Graduate of Arkansas State Teachers College with B.S.E. and M.S.E. degrees, Mr. Kent teaches American history and American government. He is sponsor of the young Republicans Club. MR. I6 MRS. AILEEN R. HENDERSON Mrs. Henderson, a senior English teacher and sponsor of the Inkwell, is the chairman of the English Department. She attended Hendrix College, University of Chicago, and the University of Arkansas. Mrs. Henderson holds B.A. and M.A. degrees. MR. GENE HOOKS Mr. Hooks, who teaches physical education and sponsors the Key Club, is the assistant football and track coach and head basketball, golf, and tennis coach. He attended Little Rock Jr. College, University of New Mexico, Hendrix College, and University of Arkansas. Mr. Hooks holds B.A. and M.Ed. degrees. MRS. MARIAN HULSEY Rosary College, Gregg Business College, Henderson State Teachers College, and the University of Arkansas are the schools attended by Mrs. Marian Hulsey. She teaches French II and journalism, and she holds B.S.E., and M.A. degrees.

MRS. MARTHA MANEES Mrs. Manees, who graduated from Hendrix College and has done graduate work at Missouri University and the University of Arkansas, holds an A.B. degree. She is a junior English teacher, Student Council sponsor, and senior class sponsor. MRS. NADINE MARCUM Sponsor of Future Business Leaders of America and Future Teachers of America, Mrs. Marcum holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Arkansas. She teaches shorthand, typing, and commercial law. MRS. MARIAN MATTHEWS Mrs. Matthews, who has a B.S.E. degree, attended South East Missouri State College and Arkansas State Teachers College. She teaches shortland, typing, office machines, and bookkeeping and assists in sponsoring the Future Business Leaders of America and the Kachinas.
