Girlish gossip. Those who arrive early always have time to chat with friends as do Cheryl Martin, Robin Snow and Sherry Puryear, seated in front of the school. Che morning parade (Continued) And so begins the mad game of dodge the principal. Out the door, down the sidewalk, in another door and another trip down the hall without being shuffled on to class. The door opens and Ed Owens comes in — for the umpteenth time. As he spies Dr. Venable in the corridor, he makes a sharp left turn to the back of the stairs and down another hall. And of course, we have our Casanovas — the kind that walk one girl down the hall and anotner back up the hall. Then there ' s the born loser trying his best to line up a date for the weekend. Hey, what are you doing this weekend? How about a date? Sorry, I ' m going to be very busy this weekend. Busy doing what? Well, Friday night there ' s this TV special on Robert Redford I ' m iust dying to see and Saturday nignt I ... I ... I ' m going to a Robert Redford movie with my cousin Hortense.
