M. Muloclc--IMMUTABLE As the seasons pass in Halifax County High School, more and more is being realized of what can be accomplished here. Our program adapts to seasonalchanges, but the passing of time means much more than a procession of seasonal activities. ln this book, the editors have attempted to capture the spirit of growth which abounds in HCHS. Our second year in the new school has been Full of purpose. ln the be- ginning, many things were done experimentally. Many things had to be postponed. We had to Find ourselves. This we have done with a minimum of lost motion. Yet there is still work to be done before our program reaches the high level we are seek- ing. The determination to accomplish is the power and the strength of our school , As the seasons pass, it is evident that our program will continue to grow--in effect- iveness, in extent, and in spirit. ,y-Q' IN of our friend, JIMMY 'I ,- ,f-Lf.
