OUR LIBRARY l-lale's beaufiful library wifh ifs ever increasing number of books, periodicals, and pamphlefs provides a comforfable place for sfudenfs fo read and fo do research for class assignmenfs. Locafed on fhe fhird floor, iusf over fhe main office, fhe library is capably direcfed by Mrs, Bess Greenlee and her sfu- denf assisfanfs. The scholarship room, adiacenf fo fhe enfrance of fhe library, provides bullefins and ofher informa- fion on admission requiremenfs, fuifion, and regulafions of a greaf many colleges. There are also numer- ous folders and pamphlefs explaining vocafional careers for fhose who will ferminafe fheir educafion upon graduafion from high school. l-lale sfudenfs have falcen good advanfage of examining fhese college and vocafional cafalogs. Also adjoining fhe library are fwo conference rooms, fhe librarian's office, and fhe worlcroom for library assisfanfs. The worlcroom is equipped wifh maferials used in fhe processing and repairing of books. Besides being especially proud of fhe modern lighfing and colorful furnifure, we af l-lale are happy fo have a governmenf documenf cafalog, verfical files and Readers' Guides which enable sfudenfs fo lo- cafe boolcs and magazines wifh greafer ease and speed, plus a wide variefy of encyclopedias and ofher reference maferials. 9 f ,

SCHOOL BANK Our school banlc has been a fremendous aid fo fhe sfudenfs, feachers, and organizafions fhis year. Behind ifs glass windows before and affer school, sfudenfs along wifh Mrs. Paf Linn have energefically sold ficlqefs fo afhlefic evenfs, soclc hops, dances, plays, and ofher school-sponsored acfivifies. They also managed fhe sale of budgef ficlcefs, school life papers, yearboolcs, calendars, boolc covers, and all school supplies. All financial business of fhe school was falcen care of by fhe banlc, and school organizafions were able fo place fheir freasuries in fhe vaulf. Our school nurse can be found working busily in fhe clinic every school day unfil fwelve noon. The nurses aides, who work direcfly under fhe supervision of Mrs. Brosseau, can be found in fhe clinic every hour of fhe day help- ing wifh fhe clerical worlc, and keeping fhe clinic neaf and clean. ln addifion fo faking care of fhe daily healfh problems of fhe sfudenf body, our school nurse supervises fhe school healfh clinics and fhe Smile Confesf every year. Mrs. Brosseau and several of l-lale's feachers parficipafed in fhe drive fo sfamp ouf Polio in Tulsa. l6,753 furned ouf af l-lale for fheir firsf lump of sugar which had been docfored wifh Sabin oral vaccine.
