Class History In the year nineteen hundred sixty three, sixteen freshmen entered Haigler High. They were Mike Broad, Linda Carlock, John Church, Howard Clark, Janet Clegg, Myrna Collicott, Ardis Crouse, Pam Crouse, Peggy Daniels, Sherri Faylor, Mark McVey, Tom Pearson, Jamie Smith, Melvin Smith, Sharon Williams, and Shirley Williams. The Seniors cruelly led us through Freshman Initiation. We lost Mike Broad, Sherri Faylor, and Pam in our sophomore year, but gained Gary Myer, Aaron Irwin, and Charles Pihlgren. Right before Christmas vacation in our Junior year we finally received our class rings. After having to postpone our class play two times we gave Tune In On Terror on December 3. On April 29, we honored the Seniors with the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom. The theme was In the Misty Moonlight. Hadley Barrett and his orchestra provided music for our dance. Then the day came when we were Seniors. We initiated 19 green and humble Freshmen into the halls of H. H. S. March 31 we presented our Senior Class Play, They Went Thataway.' On April 6 we left for our sneak to Peaceful Valley, Colorado, where we spent three wonderful days in the mountains. After being forced to leave we returned and on May 29 the Juniors hon- ored us with their Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom, Moon1ight and Roses . We danced to the music of Benedict Arnold and the Traitors. Baccalaureate services were held on May 7, in the Methodist Church. Commencement was held May 10 in the school auditorium.
