Organizations
Student Council
This year's student council
succeeded in uniting
Plant's tvvo sessions
into one student body
through hard vvork and
the support of eighteen
hundred concerned students.
The group began their vvork
with the kickoff
of the 1972 football season.
Student Council members
distributed "Beat Tags"
to Panther fans
before each game.
This organization's
Pep Rally committee worked
hard on skits and programs
for the weekly rallies.
Their imaginative sets,
costumes, and scripts
helped fire-up
the cheering crovvds.
They spent weeks organizing
this year's Panther Provvl
held the night before
the Turkey Day game.
As Christmas drevv near
the council organized
their annual canned food drive
for needy families.
The student-faculty breakfast
was another project undertaken
over the holiday season.
T This year
the Student Council published
the student directory
and the 1973 Plant calendar.
Preparation by the council
made Pantherilla
a rousing success.
This year's officers were
